Each registration contains a component for the membership of the Association whose work still continues. The membership fee for 2020-21 will be retained and you will receive an additional invoice for membership for the year of 2021-22. This invoice will be sent to you before the 28th February 2021 with instructions on how to pay.
If you wish to cancel your registration, you may do this by requesting it in writing to the ECSWR 2020 Registration Secretariat (DEKON) by fax at +90 212 347 63 63, or by e-mail to email@example.com. A deduction will be made for the Association membership fee, unless you request otherwise.
The refund policy has been extended until the conference with the following relevant dates:
- Requests received by the 5th March 2021 will be eligible for a refund in full.
- Requests received between 6th March - 5th April 2021 will be eligible for a refund of 50%.
- Requests received after 5th April 2021 will not be eligible for a refund.
These arrangements are made by individual delegates and we would advise delegates to check with their own provider about whether flights can be postponed or cancelled. Bear in mind that some airlines have already cancelled operations and are offering travel vouchers for future bookings.
Similarly, arrangements for hotel accommodation are made by individual delegates and our advice is to contact your local provider to discuss what options may be available to you.
Some delegates have made arrangements for hotels through DEKON. In these cases, DEKON is liaising with the hotels concerned to discuss options and your enquiries about this situation should be directed to them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I was not able to attend the conference this year, but would like to register for 2021. Will you keep the registration open?

I had a paper accepted for this year, but I was not able to attend the conference and I decided to withdraw my paper. Will it be possible for me to have the paper included in the programme next year?

We are very pleased that the Local Organising Committees in both Amsterdam and Milan have shown a lot of understanding about the situation. The team in Amsterdam have already agreed to host the conference in 2022. We are working closely with the team in Milan to support them in hosting the conference at the soonest available time.
